Good eating habits

Good health is achieved largely by optimal nutrition.  Our diet is the types of foods we eat, and nutrition is what the cells and tissues of our body receive as the end result of our diet.  Therefore, it is very important we develop good eating habits to maximise the nutrition our body receives.  We can achieve this by:

  > Eating three balanced meals every day.
  > Eat fruits & vegetables, fish/poultry
/meat & dairy products in balance.
  > Do not over consume cereals, breads,
pasta & any other grain based foods.
  > Chew your foods properly to
      maximise the digestion of foods.
  > Don't eat excessive amounts of
      nutrient poor foods.
  > No snacking.
  > No skipping meals.
  > No eating late at night.

Stages of Nutrition

For optimum nutrition each stage of digestion must be functioning efficiently.  Any minor issue in any of the stages can affect your health.  The six stages are:

  1. Diet: Foods you choose to consume.
  2. Digestion: Process of breaking
down of foods to be used by the
        body.
  3. Absorption: Process by which
        nutrients pass from the intestines
        into the bloodstream.
  4. Circulation: The blood carrying the
        nutrients to the cells.
  5. Assimilation: Process of the cells
        absorbing the nutrients from the
        bloodstream for energy, repair
        and formation of new cells.
  6. Elimination: Removal of waste, toxins
and dead cells by excretion from
        within the body.

Muscle testing enables Kinesiologists to be very specific about Nutrition.  Muscle testing tells us what your body wants, foods that are known to be healthy may not be healthy for you (right now).  Foods/substances can be classified in 3 ways, they are beneficial to you and increase your body energy, they have a neutral effect o the body where they don't increase or decrease the body energy and they decrease your vital energy and impair muscle balance.

Foods, liquids and other substances can be tested to determine whether the body is sensitive to them.

It is important that the foods/substances you consume (same brand etc) are tested for you.  If you do have some concerns, bring them into your session for testing.

Some body pains experienced may be the result of a nutritional deficiency.

We can crave the foods that our body is sensitive to, that causes the pain, pin pointing these foods would relieve your pain and reactions.

Supplements

Supplementation is becoming important as the mineral contents of our soils is becoming depleted.  Our lifestyle and food choices (too much fat, sugar and manufactured foods) are impacting on the level of nutrition our bodies are actually receiving.  In a world were we are surrounded by unavoidable stresses, we need even better nutrition to be able to cope with these demands.  Our health is only as good and efficient as our cells.  If we are not feeding our bodies with a nutrient rich diet our cells will become 'starved' of nutrition and full of toxic waste, which doesn't provide the right building blocks for good health.

Many people require nutritional supplementation to provide the body with balanced nutrition and support one or more of the six stages of nutrition.

When choosing a supplement be mindful of whether it is synthetic or natural.  Synthetic supplements usually isolate nutrients as listed on the label, they  don't contain the co-factors and synergistic nutrients found in the whole foods. Natural supplements are created from natural, wholesome foods which are the best source of nutrition. Therefore, the best food supplements are made from human-natural, organic whole foods with high density and great diversity with no genetically engineered (genetically modified) hybrid foods.
