Kinesiology (Kin-easy-ology) is a system of natural health care that uses muscle monitoring (biofeedback) and the principals of Chinese medicine, to assess energy and body function, applying gentle yet powerful healing techniques to correct stress and imbalances in the body. These imbalances may be structural, chemical and/or emotional.
Kinesiology has links with the acupuncture concepts of energy flow, as it is concerned with the imbalance of the body's energy.
Kinesiology is the science of balancing energy and is grounded in the study of anatomy and physiology. It not only enables people to detect and correct imbalances within their body, but can be used to assess and improve areas of issue to maximise performance levels.
Kinesiology recognises the flow of energy within the body relates not only to the muscles, but also to all tissues and organs that make up the body.
A fundamental premise of Kinesiology is; the body has an innate healing ability and at all times is doing its best to take care of itself. Sometimes the body needs assistance to achieve this.
Kinesiology is not limited to relieving pain and illnesses. It can enable a person to move closer to achieving their goals in life. These goals may be related to sports, weight, relationships, learning and/or coping with life in general. It is completely natural and non invasive.
Simple in it’s application, yet profound in its results.
